Do you cover more than supplements?
Yes — that's the core difference. ClinEvident grades dietary supplements, prescription drugs used for healthspan, diagnostics, and behaviors (like exercise and fasting) on the same evidence framework, and maps how they interact with one another. Supplement-only resources don't compare a drug, a supplement, and a behavior side by side. We do.
What does an "evidence grade" mean?
Every intervention is assessed across six dimensions of our Evidence Grading Framework. The grade reflects the quality and maturity of the published clinical evidence — not our opinion of whether something "works," and not how popular it is. Read the full methodology.
Why do supplements tend to grade lower than drugs?
It isn't bias — it reflects a structural reality. Prescription drugs typically undergo Phase 3 randomized trials with hard clinical endpoints, while most supplements have smaller, shorter trials measuring surrogate biomarkers. The framework rewards the quality of the evidence, not the popularity of the compound. Where a supplement earns a strong grade, it gets one; where the evidence is thin, the grade reflects that honestly.
